Introduction. A multidisciplinary and therapeutic approach is used for patients with osteoporotic bone fractures. Falls, leading to injuries, including fractures, are a common occurrence in the elderly suffering from osteoporosis. Multifactorial risk assessment of great importance identifying factors falls, their removal implementing preventive measures. The issue very current treated by related professional recommendations national international guidelines. latter point out following fall risks: previous use psychotropic substances, vision impairment, mobility, gait, muscle strength balance impairment cognitive functions. Fear falling, psychological passivity, urinary incontinence, inadequate footwear certain neurologic cardiovascular conditions also considered additional risks. Fall risks may be environmental (within dwelling outside), such as low lighting, furniture its disposition, difficulty accessing bed, chair, toilet, bathroom, stairs other. For realistic estimate, besides using adequate questionnaires, several static dynamic tests assess mobility. Depending on type present, actions through information, education participation measures recommended. Conclusion. fracture, recovery, within population groups, especially elderly.
